We offer a wide range of morning, lunchtime and after-school clubs and activities with a variety of options from different providers to suit every taste. 

Information on providers of extra curriculur activities and clubs can be found on this page. Please see the After School Wraparound Care page for further information on Premier afterschool provision. Please contact individual providers directly to book places for your children.

Parents and Carers should note that Sefton Park Schools are not responsible for the vetting of third party external providers of after school clubs or wrap around care.

Sefton Spotlights

Sefton Spotlights is Sefton Park Junior School’s vibrant musical theatre club, offering children aged 7-11 the chance to shine on stage while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

Our club runs during Term 1 & 2 and Term 5 & 6, with sessions held every Thursday. In the autumn, we focus on preparing for our spectacular Christmas production, giving our young performers the thrill of working together toward an exciting live show. During the summer terms, we explore musical theatre skills through dynamic workshops, helping children develop their singing, acting, and dancing abilities in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether your child is new to performing or already loves the spotlight, Sefton Spotlights is the perfect place to make friends, learn new skills, and experience the magic of theatre. We’re proud to nurture our pupils’ talents and bring our school community together through the joy of performance.

A voluntary contribution is sort for £80 for Terms 1 & 2

Soccer Shooters  

Football fun session for year 1 to year 6 boys and girls.

The Outdoors Project is on Wednesdays straight after school on the school grounds. All activities will be outdoors with some old classics mixed in with the new. This club is for years 1 to 6 and is very popular. To book your space, please go to https://www.theoutdoorsproject.co.uk/bristol/

Yanna's Wellbeing Club

Returning in September 2025 (now on a Wednesday): In Miss Anisha's "Musical Theatre Jazz" dance class you will learn all of the fundamentals of Jazz Dance. Get ready to learn new steps and fun routines to chart toppers as well as classics from musicals. 

£7.00 per class running in course with the school terms. Fees to be paid at the beginning of each term.

Kung Fu

Join our fun, energetic afterschool Kung Fu Clubs where kids build confidence, discipline and fitness, in a safe and supportive environment. Led by Sifu Kee every class is packed with fun new self-defence skills each week and learning through play and teamwork.

Step into the spotlight with our dazzling afterschool Circus Skills Club for Years 2–6! From plate-spinning to diabolos, hula hoops to balance boards, kids will master thrilling tricks while boosting coordination, confidence, and creativity. It’s laughter, learning, and a little bit of magic—no clowning around!

👾 Year 2–6 Coding Club (Year 1-4 - Fridays) 👾

3.00-4.00pm - Computer Room

Unleash your child’s digital creativity in this classroom-based tech adventure! They’ll learn the basics of coding through games, storytelling, and interactive activities, building valuable problem-solving and logic skills, all while having fun!

All sessions are taught by fully qualified kids club instructors, with enhanced DBS and instructor's insurance, ensuring your child’s experience is safe and enjoyable. 

Make art, take part

Monday's 3:30pm-5pm for children in Y4 to Y6. 

This fun afterschool workshop is an opportunity for children to:

-  explore different methods and materials for making art

- play with colour, line, form, space and texture

- develop their own ideas and expression 

-  take part in creative collaboration
